A perfect family who chooses me. I would not waste my sigh anymore, because they found me - the missing part. Most of us are looking for the best family to be with. I remember a teen age kid expressing his emotion to a friend saying, “how I wish, I could choose a family that’s best for me, (deep sigh).
I thought about it many times and came to a point that I would agree to that teen ager. What if I had the chance to choose my own family, what and who would that be?
But the truth is we never had the chance and we can never. It’s impossible! Deep sigh? Don’t waste your sighs, the rules of nature is always opposite from the rules we understand. It’s the family who chooses us to be with them, and not us. Are you happy with your family? You have to, because family, whoever they are, they are the only source of everything you have right now. Come to think of it. Take a look at you, your skin, your hair, your dress, your smile, everything in you those are because of your family.
On the other hand, how do you concept a family? Typical family are your parents, brothers & sisters but we can never limit family in that area alone. We can always have family from our friends, our officemates, our colleagues even in our community. What matters most is not how long you leave with people around you, but how well you leave with them.
There are people who never thought of living a good life from their "typical families" and yet they call them their families. Precisely, that’s the truth because that’s the rule of nature – opposite to human concept of family. We can never think of looking for other in replace to the family we never choose. But you know what? This family you have right now choose you to complete the missing part in it.
What if we had given the chance to choose our own family? Maybe it would be very unfair to our typical families living a miserable life because they never find the missing part in them. And that missing part chose to press-in his part to a complete one. Are we really up to completion and perfection why there are times we never like our own? Perhaps the truth is, we are just trying to run away from our obligations and RESPONSIBILITIES.
Don’t waste your sighs, take a deep breath and face life squarely.
